multipipettesNow you can help expand Oregon’s economy—and receive an unprecedented tax break—by contributing to Oregon's new University Venture Development Fund.

Your contributions to the University Venture Development Fund at the UO will support three key steps in the difficult early stages of moving commercially viable research from lab to market.

  • Market feasibility and assessment studies on patentable technologies and innovations emerging from faculty and student research
  • Proof-of-concept and translational research grants
  • Seed grants, awarded as matching funds, to new UO spinout companies with demonstrated potential for commercial success

Giving is Easy

Tax credits are available on a first-come, first-served basis. A fully completed UVDF Contribution and Tax Credit application form must be approved by the University of Oregon before donors are eligible to receive a UVDF tax credit.
